Separating from your partner is one of the most stressful and emotional experiences you can go through.
Anger, shock, loneliness, hurt, and a sense of overwhelm are common emotions during this time.
As a parent, you may be especially concerned about minimizing the impact of the separation on your children. As a collaborative family law coach, I work with both parents to establish a respectful and cooperative co-parenting relationship. We’ll consider your children's developmental stages to help you emotionally attune to their needs in the best possible way.
Areas We Will Focus On:
Developing a long-term vision for your family, ensuring important rituals andcelebrations remain intact (e.g., birthdays, school events, weddings)
Communicating effectively as a co-parenting team
Age-appropriate ways to talk to your children about the separation
How to share the news with others (family, friends, teachers, etc.)
Creating living and care arrangements
Addressing financial considerations
I typically meet with each parent individually before bringing you together, when possible, to ensure alignment and clear communication.
If this is the support you’re looking for, call me to discuss your situation, or book a session through the contact form.

Therapy to me is:
A way of finding the richness that is in each of us by considering how race, gender, sexuality, religion, culture, class and power influences our values and belief systems.
An empowering process that enables you to find your own solutions and responses to difficult and challenging life situations.
A way of translating difficulty into discovery and creating a happier life.
